<Technolalia> focuses on Philosophy, Culture, and Tech and how those three categories interact. The content stems from original pieces to curated links and the occasional podcast.

Book by Øystein Linnebo
“A sophisticated, original introduction to the philosophy of mathematics from one of its leading contemporary scholars
Mathematics is one of humanity's most successful yet puzzling endeavors. It is a model of precision and objectivity, but appears distinct from the empirical sciences because it seems to deliver nonexperiential knowledge of a nonphysical reality of numbers, sets, and functions. How can these two aspects of mathematics be reconciled? This concise book provides a systematic yet accessible introduction to the field that is trying to answer that question: the philosophy of mathematics.”
Reading Notes
“Angelicism sounds dumb,
Miladys eyes look dumb,
Tojis arms look dumb,
All bored apes look like they’re chewing gum.”
—
An animal of reason,
A surreptitious desire for beauty,
And an unquenchable thirst for transgression,
The need to affirm my body my flesh, or the shame of being man.
The fracture of being - individuating individuation.
That is the atheism that torments me.
—
An affirmation of digitalization and flatlining reality into two dimensions is misguided. Two dimensions neglects the 3rd, that of an ascension, but this ascension should not be mistaken with arboreal structures, this verticality is a movement, it’s a flow, a line of flight.
—
Absolute Spirit drowns the earth in Despair,
A single clamor of sorrow fills our hearts,
A one and true univocal affirmation of solitude,
“Take me in”
A deafening silence echoes our brilliant tomb.
“I alone am the blessed one.”

Final Comments on Milady
The notion of Orginal Sin is so common it goes without the needing to explain by example. The fractal nature of Original Sin is that there is no “particular time” in which the “event” takes place. For Original Sin is as much the consumption of the forbidden fruit as it is the rebellion of Satan in Heaven. It is as much a Sin of Pride as an act of Lust or Gluttony.
Milady’s momentary fall from grace echoes this acient pattern. We must avoid archetype as we are unsure how this story will unfold and if salvation lies ahead for Milady. All that can be said at this time, is that the primary or cardinal Sin was one of Pride. Of mistaking Salvation with that of this world. Spirituality is not for us never has been and never will.
With Revelation comes the understanding that with destruction comes creation.

“Christianity taught us to see the eye of the lord looking down upon us. Such forms of knowledge project an image of reality, at the expense of reality itself. They talk figures and icons and signs, but fail to perceive forces and flows. They bind us to other realities, and especially the reality of power as it subjugates us. Their function is to tame, and the result is the fabrication of docile and obedient subjects.”
